Government and Cybersecurity

In January of 2025, the United States Justice Department announced a Federal indictment exposing a wide-reaching operation by North Korean operatives who infiltrated U.S. companies as remote employees, in order to generate revenue and intelligence for the DPRK Regime.

What is perhaps most interesting about this story is that it didn’t reach the top of the News. Why? Because stories like these aren’t uncommon. Incidents are happening, not just on U.S. ground, but globally, as threat actors increasingly target national infrastructure through corporate systems.

This serves as a stark reminder that cyber threats on our companies can also have serious national security and economic implications. But it also raises questions about government involvement in enterprise cybersecurity.

What is happening behind the scenes? How are policies evolving? Where are the gaps, and what do businesses need to know now?

Joined by experts who have worked across government agencies, intelligence, and the private sector, we’ll tackle the issues and garner insights on the topic of Government and Cybersecurity.
