TraitWare + Red Hat

TraitWare PAM module is “Tried, Tested, and Trusted” on Red Hat Technology

Introduction

The TraitWare Pam Module for SSH and SFTP provides passwordless, phishing-resistant MFA logins to Red Hat servers and workstations. With the TraitWare PAM Module, using TraitWare QR (Patent Pending) or PreAuth™ methods (Patented), administrators can fortify endpoints:  login, GDM, KDM, XDM, SSH, SCP, SFTP, FTP, email clients, and any PAM-aware services.  To log in, the user SSHs to the server and is shown a QR and an option for a push login.  For QR login, the user authenticates to their TraitWare mobile app and scans the QR code with the mobile app.  For push login, TraitWare PreAuth™ requires the users to open and authenticate their TraitWare App before receiving a push notification.

TraitWare Passwordless MFA

TraitWare’s enterprise-class, patented, plug-and-play solution combines Real Passwordles MFA™ and SSH of SFTP for True Zero Trust Access™ —eliminating the need for passwords while reducing friction for the user and increasing security for your company. You’ll save 60% or more on support budgets.

TraitWare Authentication Console

The TraitWare Authentication Console provides OAuth authentication for the process and allows the console’s admin to add users, control access, and register users’ devices for authentication. The console server communicates with the pam_traitware.9.so module and with the user’s TraitWare Authentication app.

TraitWare Authentication App

The TraitWare App provides a user token, which is something the user has, and combines that with biometric verification and dynamic QR scan. Additional factors may include a one-time code and, when activated, the user’s location.
